How An Answer Gets Here

Every answer starts as a real question, from a reader, a dinner, or a shop. It gets researched against producers, texts and people who make the stuff, then written down in plain language and tagged so you can find it again.

Each one carries a confidence level, because some of this is settled chemistry and some of it is genuinely contested. When something changes — a law, a classification, a consensus — the answer gets re-verified and the date on it moves.
